Born and raised in Belgium, the country no one really seems to actually visit. Apparently having the world’s best beer, chocolate, waffles and fries just isn’t enough… But I always knew my world was bigger than Belgium. After graduating with a master’s degree in Criminology, I started solo travelling for about 10 months and this experience literally changed my being and the way I perceive how life should be lived. Coming back home there was no way I would start a 9 to 5 job. At the time, my mother, who lives in New York, had this idea for a start-up, and she just needed some fire to get that idea going. Now I do online marketing and graphic design for this family start-up, and I also help out with another family business. All I need is my laptop and Wi-Fi to work and hopefully I can keep living the “digital nomad lifestyle” for as long as I want to. Right now Innsbruck seems like the perfect place to spend my winter. Snowboarding is one of my passions, and so is getting to know new people and places. And the people in Innsbruck, are pretty awesome.
